I have never run with my phone (except super long runs when I needed my husband to meet me with more water), but I am thinking that I should probably change that. It's partly because I think I should have it for safety, but it is mostly because I keep seeing things I want to take pictures of!
One of the reasons I haven't run with my phone, is because I've never had a great way to carry it. It's too heavy on my arm (and I already have my i-pod) on my arm. Most waist packs I've tried tend to ride up and drive me crazy. So when I got a chance to try the SLS3 Dual Pocket Run Belt, I figured it was worth trying.
I'm pretty impressed. The pockets look tiny, but they easily expand to hold my phone and 2 pockets on GU. That was all I needed because I'm not running super long right now. However, I think they could easily hold everything I need to hold all the fuel I would need for a marathon.
I love that it has 2 pockets. This means that when I stick my GU packet back in the pack, it doesn't get gross, sticky GU remnants all over my phone screen. I can sequester it in its own pocket.
Mostly, I love that I don't even feel it. It is so light and it stayed in place while I ran.
